Overview:
Tumble Creek at Suncadia is the Pacific Northwest’s renowned second home destination. The crown jewel of Suncadia’s 6,400-acre resort, Tumble Creek’s private 2,600 acres include a golf course designed by Tom Doak, a wide array of amenities for all ages, and unmatched family programming. In addition, members enjoy the amenities and programming of Suncadia Resort. All this is nestled in the Cascade Mountains just 90 minutes from downtown Seattle. We are currently working on the introduction of a new offering of amenities and a premier enclave of homesites to be released in fall 2019.
Challenges:

Tumble Creek was affected by the recession like many luxury golf communities. Sales had slowed, pricing was soft, and delivery of some amenities were put on hold while things recovered. The general real estate brokers did not sell the community, nor believe in the values. The challenge was to make something old new again, reenergize the broker community, and to generate interest and demand from the Seattle market…..all in a very short period of time.

Enter Catalyst:
Catalyst worked with the onsite development team to craft a narrative and strategy to relaunch the community to the Seattle market. Creating a brand story that would resonate with the target markets, Catalyst implemented a priority reservation sales program to release new homesite inventory.  The cornerstone of that story was the announcement of a number of new amenities that included a lake, sports park, and a much anticipated club house designed by award winning Hart Howerton. The overall program included the placement and management of an experienced, development sales team and multiple sales offices; an extensive multi-media lead generation campaign; and a comprehensive calendar of on-site and off-site lifestyle events to engage with owners, prospects, builders, architects, and local and regional brokers.
Results:
The Catalyst business plan delivered an influx of prospects and created a buzz in the local and Seattle markets among all intended target groups. The sales team was able to convert many of these to reservations and then sales, resulting in a record breaking sales event on opening day. With more than $13 million in homesite sales, Tumble Creek was able to celebrate the most successful year in developer sales in over a decade and also realize more than a 30% increase in homesite pricing.
